Nike Experimental Pitch

Bolder Creative asked me to work with them and come up with some experimental ideas and visuals for a Nike pitch.

During this process I tried to look beyond the traditional polished look of Nike branding and find a really interesting concept that could work across multiple mediums and styles. I experimented with some glitchy Op Art and a lot of X-Particles using motion capture data to create a sense of movement and dance. The most interesting idea for me was a take on the old process of slit scanning. I wanted to try and take slit scanning into a 3D space and ended up creating slices for each frame of a shoe animation.

This could then show the movement of the shoes in a really novel way, more interesting than traditional motion tracking and 'trails' as well as creating flowing landscapes and shapes.
